VLC Pause-Play

Pause and play VLC Media Player from inside any other application.

 

This is a simple shortcut to pause or play VLC Media Player from inside any other application. VLC needs focus to toggle pause/play, so this script quickly activates VLC, toggles playback, then returns to the previously active window.

Usage

Press Ctrl + ` (that’s the ‘grave’ key, to the left of the 1/! key on your keyboard) to toggle pausing/playing in VLC Media Player.
